Silent Hill remake release window may have been revealed, alongside cast details

The gaming landscape can feel pretty grim at times – BioWare has just been shut down, Mass Effect 5 is no longer going ahead, and AI is being increasingly adopted into game development.
But for you Silent Hill fans out there, there’s cause for celebration – a new report has just revealed a possible release window for the Silent Hill remake, as well as the actors that might be in it.
The report comes from MP1st who say that Bloober Team, the developer behind the remake, is aiming for a 2027 release window.
Meaning that, if everything goes to plan in Konami’s schedule, it might be a year or even less before we can get our hands on a copy.
However, the report has also leaked some exclusive cast details on who is attached to the project – Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew.
Gabrielle Fritz is an Austrian-born actress based in the UK, who has worked extensively across film, TV and games. In the gaming world, she has worked on titles such as Battlefield 2042 and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
For Jade Matthew, however, it seems she hasn’t had as much experience in the gaming world, but has plenty of credits across TV with credits in Doctors and EastEnders.
Not much more information about the game or what roles Matthew and Fritz will be playing has been leaked, and it’s still unclear who the actor attached to protagonist Harry Mason will be.

Cast aside, Konami has previously stated that they want to release a Silent Hill game every year, so this 2027 release window looks increasingly likely.
And with this year’s Silent Hill game, Silent Hill: Townfall, receiving largely positive reviews, hopefully Konami is on to another hit with the franchise.
