GTA 6 has dropped new gameplay footage in the last place you'd expect, and it's hilarious, with a surprise appearance in South Park giving us another look at Rockstar Games' highly anticipated open-world adventure.
With just weeks to go until the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI in November, we might have assumed we'd seen all the new gameplay Rockstar Games wanted to show us for now.
However, it seems we were wrong, as the latest episode of South Park features an unexpected GTA VI gameplay clip showing Jason dealing with an annoying dog walker on a Vice City beach.
What the new GTA 6 gameplay footage reveals
Jason and Lucia are walking on a packed Vice City beach when a dog walker in front of them drops a poo on the beach. The good NPC then picks up the poo and puts it in a bag (as every responsible dog owner should).
Jason then throws something at the dog walker for no apparent reason other than showing that you interact with everyday objects in the world of GTA VI, and throws that at the NPC.
This then sparks a fight between Jason and the NPC. Jason then picks up the dog poo bag and throws it at the NPC by using it as a grotesque and no doubt stinky weapon. For obvious reasons, this escalates the Vice City beach brawl.

Rockstar reveals new GTA 6 gameplay details
As picked up by IGN, in the most recent publication of Edge magazine, there was an interview with Rockstar Games’ Rob Nelson (co-studio head and head of development), Aaron Garbut (co-studio head and head of development) and Phil Hooker (the third head of development), revealing some new juicy GTA VI gameplay details.
They revealed that much of the GTA VI map opens relatively early, allowing players to pretty much explore Leonida freely as they please. While older GTA games had areas locked, GTA V was also open from the get-go. The last mainline entry in the series that unlocks areas as you progress in the story is 2008’s GTA IV.
Rockstar Games also revealed that the map in GTA VI is so big that some of its developers are still discovering new areas in the game, despite being just a few weeks away from its big launch. They also reiterated that GTA VI will have significantly more building interiors for players to enter, compared to previous Grand Theft Auto games.
All that sounds fantastic, and we can’t wait to see a flurry of poo-throwing GTA VI gameplay clips across social media in the months ahead.
Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. At the time of writing, Rockstar Games hasnt officially announced the PC port yet. We’ll keep you updated when we learn more.
