Minecraft's New Dimension The Sift Is Dreamy & Pink
The fourth dimension, featuring quirky creatures, debuts in Minecraft Dungeons II before arriving in Java & Bedrock next year.
Minecraft will get a new dimension for the first time in over 14 years – the Sift, revealed at September's Minecraft Live.
The dimension joining the Overworld, the Nether, and the End will first appear in Minecraft Dungeons II, coming on September 29, and next year, players will be able to enter the Sift in Minecraft Java & Bedrock Edition.
"The Sift is beautiful, vibrant, and teeming with souls." The dreamy new dimension features areas like the Meadow and the Carapace, offering a visual style quite different from Minecraft's familiar worlds. The revealed environment features candy-colored pink and turquoise tones and seems populated with quirky creatures reminiscent of little bunnies. They seem to be friendly – let's hope they indeed are.
Minecraft Dungeons II is an upcoming sequel to the 2020 action RPG set in the dungeons of the Minecraft universe. According to Mojang Studios, it will feature an interconnected Dungeons world, in contrast to the level-based missions in the first game.
