Grab your Joy-Con™ 2 controllers (and in most cases any Joy-Con controller you may already have!) and get ready to use them as rackets, bows, and…thumbs?!

Yup!

So, let’s go through the 12 sports you’ll find across the land, sea, and sky.

A tour of the island

In addition to the 12 sports available, you can choose from three different times of day to freely explore the island. Chase dolphins in the ocean, search for hidden hibiscus flowers, or collect Spocco Photos to get info on sightseeing spots around the resort.

Climb the ranks in Island Crown

Challenge increasingly tough opponents as you try to climb to 1st place in Island Crowns. Rumor has it that if you become a truly elite competitor, you’ll get a chance to face off against seasoned champs called Island Legends.

Create and customize

Create and play as a Sportsmate or your very own Mii™ character. As you play, you’ll earn Spocco Points that you can use to unlock a variety of cosmetic options in the Item Center. From hairstyles to outfits and accessories, you can stylize your character to look their best while facing any opponent.

Remember to check the Item Center each week—collections are randomized, so you'll never quite know what you'll find!

Every month, you’ll be able to look forward to special items that will appear in the Item Center. As a matter of fact, during October, we’ve conjured up a few items that will have you creepin’ it real (scary) on the playing field! Just be sure to get your treats before they disappeaaaaaaaar.
