Check Out This Relaxing Brutalist City Builder Inspired by Tiny Glade
Tiny Brutalism brings concrete architecture to the cozy city builder genre.
If you are a fan of cozy games, especially titles such as Tiny Glade or Townscraper, check out Tiny Brutalism from Jimjum Studios, which inverts the genre of cozy builders and adds a twist of an unexpected architectural style – brutalism.
In the sandbox, you can create your own dream mega structure using over 20 building blocks, which perfectly fit into procedurally generated buildings, bridges, towers, stairs, and nature. The game features immersive environments with trees, bushes, and vines, and the architecture looks realistic with various concrete textures.
The devs share that they feel brutalism is an underexplored genre, and much more popular than people tend to assume. There's a unique feature to add interiors and in-door decorating, as leading sandbox city builders don't support this, and you can even explore your own creations with the first-person mode and explore what you've built from the eyes of a citizen, also jumping around and performing parkour. The city builder is being developed with Unity, and the developers utilize our own in-house tools.
Tiny Brutalism features a weather system with a day and night cycle, where you control the environment with rain and fog. There are no goals or roght ways to build – the gameplay is relaxing, calm, and atmospheric, and you can just enjoy the process and craft your own brutalist utopia. The game is in development, and the creators promise more exciting features to come.
