Popular Lord of the Rings RPG drops a brand new challenging expansion

The Lord of the Rings fans can now pick up a brand new expansion for The Lord of the Rings Online titled The Wolves of Mordor.
As the name of the expansion implies, The Wolves of Mordor deals with a new threat coming from Mordor long after the death of Sauron.
Taking place after the events of the book, this new expansion will feature new stories and monsters never before seen in a Tolkien-themed video game.
With the War of the Ring won, some of Sauron's oldest servants have returned in the power vacuum that he left behind, and this includes the werewolves of Mordor, who are hunting those who brought their master down.
The Lord of the Rings: The Wolves of Mordor takes us deeper into Mordor than ever before
The Wolves of Mordor features a brand new story for players to go through, where they must journey beyond Gorgoroth and hunt down a wolf-wraith who has been set loose. You do this by gathering unlikely allies, and uncovering secrets hidden in the forgotten corners of Middle-earth.
In The Lord of the Rings, Gorgoroth was located in the northwestern part of Mordor near Barad-dûr and Mount Doom. It wasn't seen in the movies, but has made a few appearances in other media. Most notably, it's appeared as a playable region in Middle-earth: Shadow of War.
However, this expansion actually goes beyond Gorgoroth, with players having to go through the uncharted wilds of Draugardh, a territory that has been created exclusively for The Wolves of Mordor. This region features three locations: Heledhris, scorched by Mount Doom; the jagged plains of Parth Rhavas; and the shrouded forests of Nan Ogol.
In Draugardh, you face off against the werewolves, as well as the wolf-revering Easterlings who have remained in Mordor long after the defeat of Sauron. You can pick up new tactics, skills, and enhancements from the people who call this place home to build your own playstyle across all your characters.
The new expansion also introduces a new gameplay system called Neighbours, companions who can move into your home and grow into real friendships through stories, gifts, and daily missions. These characters are shaped by twenty different personality traits, and also feature a dynamic mood system that makes no two bonds alike.
The Lord of the Rings Online: The Wolves of Mordor is available now in three different versions. You can get the Standard Edition for $39.99, which includes the expansion, a "Were-hunter" title, and two Neighbours. The more expensive Collector's Edition for $79.99 also adds the "Dauntless" cosmetic set, new character boosts, and a third Neighbour. However, for the Ultimate Fan Bundle at $129.99, you also get the "Were-wolf Hunter's" cosmetic set, the Scar the Hunter’s Hound pet, a fourth Neighbour, a housing teleport, shared storage slots, as well as an XP boost and more goodies.
