LEGO & Netflix Presented a Giant Derpy Tiger from KPop Demon Hunters

The massive LEGO statue is roughly half the size of its creator, LEGO designer Björn Ramant.

A giant LEGO statue of Derpy Tiger from KPop Demon Hunters became Netflix and LEGO's most recent collaborative project. The huge figure is about half the size of the creator behind it, LEGO designer Björn Ramant.

The massive LEGO-made Derpy Tiger took about 2.5 months to create, from sketching out the design to assembling the final pieces, the creator shared on his socials. It required 4 metal beams for additional support, since the figure was so heavy. Ramant revealed that he used around 37,000 pieces to build Derpy Tiger. Considering that an average 2x4 LEGO brick weighs approximately 2.5 grams (0.088 ounces), it weighs about 92,500 grams or 3,256 ounces.

Right now, the giant LEGO Derpy is on display at LEGO World 2026 in Utrecht. There is much more to see there for pop culture fans. The figures displayed at this year's event include the 1989 Batmobile, One Piece Whale, and a life-sized Toy Story's Woody.

Before rediscovering his passion for LEGO in 2016, Ramant was a Software Architect. In 2020, he competed in LEGO Masters, and in 2021, he started his part-time business designing and building LEGO figures. If you want to see more of Ramant's LEGO creations, check them out on his Instagram.
