Skyrim 'Adventurers Guild' introduced in free PC add-on that adds tons of new quests
If you were teaching an alien what an RPG is, you’d probably use The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as a case study.
It’s a poster child of the formula, having essentially perfected what it means to be an RPG despite launching 15 years ago.
That being said, there is one traditional RPG element missing from Bethesda’s behemoth hit of a game - and that’s an adventurers guild.
There are experiences that feel adjacent to what an adventurers guild might offer, with players instead able to complete a wide array of faction quests for those like the Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, College of Winterhold, and more.
If you want a true adventurers guild in Skyrim though, you may want to download the aptly titled new mod offering ‘Adventurers Guild’ on PC via NexusMods.
Created by user urtubesrclogged, it does precisely what it says on the tin, offering Skyrim players the chance to complete quests, improve their rank, and more.
It’ll be interesting to see whether The Elder Scrolls VI includes a similar feature

Players will be able to access the guild via a counter in the inn “of every hold capital as well as in Raven Rock”. Simply talk to the innkeeper to get underway.
You’ll get your own guild card featuring your rank, registration date, and progress towards next rank, which can be viewed at any time.
Should you lose this, you can replace the card with relevant innkeepers for a small fee.
The mod allows you to earn crest stamps from clearing dungeons, plus your aforementioned guild card may get you into certain locations easier, bypassing stubborn guards.
If you find the card of a fellow adventurer who has fallen, you can hand it in for bonus reputation.
Tha ranks run from E to S and you’ll earn a rank promotion when you secure both enough reputation and reach a required minimum level.
As for quests, those can be obtained from counters or on boards within the guild with each quest labelling its rank.
Upon handing in completed quests or reporting cleared dungeons, you’ll nab yourself some gold, merit, and reputation.
That’s still far from all that this mod offers.
You can acquire trophies for your hunts, engage with various guild services including a library and training facility, plus you can set up your own adventuring party.
In total, the mod features over 1,000 new lines of voiced dialogue, so this is a really comprehensive offering with the idea being that it should feel as if the mod’s content was always a part of Skyrim.
It’s a new mod offering, only landing this month, but it’s already being enjoyed by thousands of players.
“This is an incredibly cool mod! We've been waiting for it for so long... 10 years,” someone declared.
Another player added, “Seriously, this mod is just chef's kiss. Will be adding and using this for any modlist from now on.”
While development on The Elder Scrolls VI is progressing, it’s still likely some way away, so fan projects like this are just the thing we need to keep us ticking over.
