The to-go coffee cup has been the bane of my existence for the better part of a decade. I first started going to coffee shops at the end of my college career, when I finally realized life was significantly better when you start your day with an overpriced cup of coffee served by a queer adolescent. But while I loved my little daily coffees, I detested the classic to-go coffee cup design that inevitably seeped scalding hot liquid all over my hands, not to mention the waste my cup lids produced, day after day.

I found myself screaming into the void: There has to be a better way! And someone in the void was listening.
