Nike x Hyperice focus on athlete recovery with the Air Zoom Hyperslide

Marking the second release in the ongoing innovation partnership between the two brands following the Hyperboot, the Air Zoom Hyperslide shifts focus strictly to post-sport recovery. Developed with input from elite athletes including footballer Virgil van Dijk, the slide combines a full-length Nike Air Zoom sole with active recovery features derived from Hyperice‘s Venom line.

At the centre of the design is a removable, magnetic Hyperslide Pod housed within the adjustable strap. The pod delivers targeted heat up to 47°C, along with three levels of vibration, during 15-minute recovery cycles. Users can adjust settings directly through on-pod controls or via the Hyperice mobile application. The product offers a 1-hour battery life and TSA-friendly portability for travel between training sessions.

Tobie Hatfield, senior director of athlete innovation at Nike, said, “Athletes leave everything on the field, and the approach to recovery needs to meet them at the same level. With the Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide, we wanted to create a solution that kickstarts recovery the moment you power it up — helping athletes feel more relaxed, restored and ready to take their performance to the next level.”

Rather than serving pre-performance warm-ups, the slide aims to integrate active recovery directly into daily movement, travel, and post-competition routines.

Anthony Katz, founder of Hyperice, said, “Our partnership with Nike has always been driven by a shared commitment to innovation for the athlete. With the Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide, we’re making premium recovery more accessible than ever, combining Nike’s iconic footwear expertise with Hyperice technology to help people recover smarter with every step.”
