Range Rover has confirmed the fifth model in its vehicle portfolio: the Range Rover GT. Designed as a grand tourer, the vehicle’s interior applies the same reductive principles seen across the brand’s exterior styling, prioritising purity, precision and quiet modernity through a clean layout.

Inside the cabin, technology is woven into the architecture. A new single central screen is paired with a driver display that replaces the traditional instrument cluster, while a concealed air vent spans the full width of the interior to maintain a horizontal graphic.

A tactile woven textile wraps the dashboard in a single gesture, serving a dual purpose by hiding the audio speakers within its form to reduce visual and acoustic clutter.

Manufactured in Halewood, UK, the Range Rover GT will be the first model produced on the company’s new EMA platform. The vehicle will launch initially as a battery electric vehicle (BEV), with a hybrid electric option planned to join the line-up later in its lifecycle.

Martin Limpert, Managing Director at Range Rover, said: “The Range Rover GT will redefine the grand-touring segment with the ability to deliver beautiful and engaging GT poise, proportions and long-distance refinement while offering capabilities no conventional GT can match.”

Prototypes are currently undergoing final global testing in a bespoke camouflage wrap featuring gold topographic contours inspired by the landscape surrounding Gaydon, the home of Range Rover’s creative and engineering teams. Further specifications and details will be released later this year.
